1ST Day
Pick up from the airport or your hotel in Campo Grande or Corumba. From Campo Grande we travel 340km (4.5 hrs) to the Pantanal Via BR 262 highway. You will reach Buraco das Piranhas ( Piranha Hole ) where our 4x4 vehicle will take you, in Groups, via the Estrada Estadual MS 280 ( Ecological Road ) this road is also known as the transpantaneira.
This route is widely known as one of the best places in Brazil to see the Wildlife, which are drawn close to the roadway all year round. After 55 km of sometimes bumpy dirt road we will arrive at Fazenda Japora ( Agency Tucantur base point for the 1st night only). At this point we stop for our first night a typical delicious Pantanal dinner will be served, option of hammocks or tents for sleeping.
2ND Day
Around 05:00am in the morning, you will wake up to the sound of howler monkeys, chachalacas and macaws. Breakfast is serve at 05:30am. After breakfast we jump on 4x4 truck with all our equipment to start our Ecological Safari into the heart of the pantanal. From the vehicle you will see different animals and birds. You will probably want to take photos and ask many questions of our guide about the area, people, etc. and of course about the Pantanal.
From a point X (a pre-determined vantage point) our vehicle will stop and our guide will take you on foot into the location where we will stay for our 2nd night. Arriving about 12:00pm the traditional Pantanal meal will be made ready and waiting for you. Our Vehicle, cook and all the equipment will be waiting at this location, hammocks will be up so you can relax after you had your meal.
At 16:00 pm our guide will take you piranha fishing. Dinner will be serve with a succulent typical piranha fish. On return from fishing our guide will take you to a nature walk, animals spotting, bird watching, plant examining etc.
After Dinner our guide will take you on a alligator light spot, using torch we can see the alligator on the lakes. Finally we will sleep in hammocks or tents.
3RD Day
Now you are about 210 km into the Pantanal sleeping under trees listening to birds, seeing the wildlife next to you. At 05:00 you will wake up by our guide leave camp about 05:30 for a 3 hours nature walk. Returning to campsite at 08:00 where your breakfast will be waiting for you. After you had breakfast we organise all equipment, personal kits and return to Corumba or Campo Grande by by 4x4, a lunch will be made at Fazenda Japora or Porto da manga.
End of 3RD Day Trip.
4th Day
Leaving location from 2nd night about 15:00 pm
We will move camp, sleeping another night more inside of the Pantanal you now are about 210km or more km inside of the Pantanal. Arriving at this location later in the evening, a nature walk will be made to see more animals, lakes, birds.
Returning to camp area, traditional pantanal dinner will be waiting for you.
At 05:30 our guide will wake you up and by a nature walk to see the early animals, birds, this is pleasant direct contact with the environment. Returning to Camp at 07:30 where a breakfast will be waiting for you, after breakfast return to Corumba or Campo Grande, a lunch will be made at Fazenda Japora or Porto da Manga.
